As posted in some other thread around here ...

YouTube - Rocky IV (Robert Tepper) - No Easy Way Out

My favorite movie scene, ever!!!!

Also I agree with It's My Life as well as Livin On A Prayer, Have A Nice Day and We Weren't Born To Follow by Bon Jovi!!!!

Been listening to a lot of comedy lately and almost forgot how much music helps through inspiration, back to Rocky here's a great one for my marathon training...

YouTube - Bill Conti - Gonna Fly Now (Theme From Rocky)

You know, I'm really surprised they didn't include Rick Allen from Def Leppard in the "Most Insane Moments Of Drummers" video. (Thanks for sharing that, by the way - way cool)

I mean come on, Rick Allen is a one-armed drummer - that's like being a one legged World Cup soccer player.

A song that really motivates me has to be 'Whatever you like' by T.I.

I think it's more about the idea of the financial freedom within the video, and being able to treat other people but this certainly gets me working :D.

Can't add a link for you yet as I've not got enough posts but will do as soon as I can :)

I think that the best example right now is this one:

Billionaire

I think everyone in this forum would agree that they feel the same.

And I think this one is a good example as well:

I Made It

At least these are the ones that I most use to motivate myself!

Funny thing is, Drake is my "music that motivates"

Since I started listening to him in 2006 and to see him make the bright lights in 2009, it motivates me to have that same kind of perseverance. I mean come on...it took a lot of determination to shed that Degrassi image, and being from Canada in the music biz wasn't all too hot either.

I Need A Dollar- Aloe Blacc- A very simple song yet it has a lot of meaning. To me it means the work, sacrifices , and struggles you must endure to enter the Fastlane.

YouTube - Aloe Blacc - I Need A Dollar (Official Video)

Aggressive Expansion- Hans Zimmer- Another one of my favorites from the Dark Knight Soundtrack. At 0:18 I can just see myself in my Murcielago, smashing the throttle and whisking away down the road.

YouTube - The Dark Knight Sountrack - Aggressive Expansion

4 AM- Kaskade- A great song that is very relaxing.

YouTube - Kaskade - 4 AM (Adam K & Soha remix) *HD*

C9, if you have the time, please share with us and post a you tube link for us here, for the song or songs from Drake that you find motivating. Thanks!!

Linkin Park In the End

YouTube - Linkin Park - "In The End"

"In The End"

(It starts with)
One thing, I don’t know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It’s so unreal
Didn’t look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Trying to hold on but didn’t even know
Wasted it all just to
Watch you go
I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
One thing, I don’t know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To remind myself how
I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mocking me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I’m surprised it got so (far)
Things aren’t the way they were before
You wouldn’t even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me
In the end
You kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
There’s only one thing you should know
I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
There’s only one thing you should know
I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn’t even matter

Frank Zappa - Wet T-Shirt Nite + Toad O-Line

Ain't nothin' like a Frank Zappa guitar solo! Check out his solo at the end of the wet t-shirt contest. This album also has one of greatest drummers of all time Vinnie Calauita... Check out the complexities of his grooves (especially at the end )! He replaced Terry Bozzio.... for those in the know, a VERY hard act to follow!

on another side note if anyone remembers the 80's band Missing Persons, the girl who plays Mary in this one is Dale Bozzio singer of Missing Persons

YouTube - Frank Zappa - Wet T-Shirt Nite + Toad O-Line

this you tube link actually plays the album in sequence from where I started it.

To summarize the album, it's about a guy who chose the path of the musician from jamming in the garage to the catching the eye of the local girls to going on tour to disease to becoming a latex appliance fettishist to jail(?) to working in a muffin factory. "He was a very good boy. He use to cut the grass" It's a classic
