Why? Do you have a huge sum of money you want to sock away with lower risk or .. ? When you're talking about a million bucks in municipals, you can live off the interest for life, but we're talking like 5% returns here. What MJ was proposing in the book: You bust your a$$ providing value for people and then when you experience explosive wealth creation you put the cash into a few money systems that keep it working for you passively with low risk of losing it overnight. Municipals are one of several ways to do that. For the average shlub they'll earn you a cup of Starbucks every year.
