“One of my old coaches used to tell me that 80 percent of the things we spend our time worrying and having nightmares about never actually happen. We spend so much of our lives racking our brains about things that will never materialize.” -Brock Lesnar, WWE and UFC Champion

"It has been said that the individual is perfected far more by work than by reading, by action more than by study, by character more than by biography; these are courses that are given by the University of Life more completely than in all other institutions known to men" - Russell Conwell

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts - Winston Churchill

If you spend too much time thinking about the thing, you'll never get the thing done - Bruce Lee

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Full poem for those interested:

The Road Not Taken
By Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Success is better if you enjoy the process of succeeding.
" If you aren't grateful for what you already have, what makes you think you would be happy with more? "
-Roy T. Bennett

I think this is such a huge pitfall for so many "successful" people including entrepreneurs.
I'd argue that true success in life sprouts from right there on the inside. *points to chest*

The quote I'd like to add myself is:

“Our job is to figure out what they're going to want before they do. I think Henry Ford once said, 'If I'd asked customers what they wanted, they would have told me, "A faster horse!"' People don't know what they want until you show it to them. That's why I never rely on market research. Our task is to read things that are not yet on the page.” -Steve Jobs
