Hey all,

As you know, the contest we had w/99designs was great. Only problem was the copying of our design, and 99designs addressed that to our satisfaction.

Besides a great logo, we also got a new Inn mascot out of the deal!

But we're having a hard time naming him/her.

This will be the "person" directing you via signage, the assistant peeking at you from the brochure, etc.

Names we've come up w/so far:

Corky

Screwter ;)

Sally Brate . . .

(. . . so you can see why I'm asking for your help!).

Take a look at our mascot, envision him/her helping people at the Napa Old World Inn.

What is his/her name?

Thanks in advance for your ideas! :thankyousign:

My wife just wants us to call him:

Corkscrew Guy

(feedback?)

Twisty?

btw, one of the taglines we're gonna use is a photo of the mascot rotating, with the caption:

"Relax and unwind at the Old World Inn . . ."

LOL! I thought it was good.

In any case, do you think gender is important one way or another because of your target market or something?

Good question.

We do attract a lot of female clientele-- but they usually have a guy in tow.

I liked "Corky" in part b/c it's gender neutral-- both girls and boys.

And . . . this is Northern California. So we have 2 girls or 2 boys stay w/us at least once a week.

So I'd like to address all of those audiences. :)

I thought Popper was funny. Kind of a mix of "papa" and a term of endearment (the Bobster):

Popper.

Sheesh, I think about this stuff WAY too much . . . :smx4:

I think Corky works best.

It's recognizable, it's easy to remember and recall. People will "get it".
Some of the other names, although good, make me have to think too hard to "get it".
Don't overthink it.
