Looming war in Ukraine and Taiwan- market awareness

Interested in stock market leaders in this forum about your actions in the market with the looming news of the Ukraine specifically. If war starts the markets will be affected. How badly is the question- is anyone hedging right now ?

Ukraine interest is certainly building up, but no mention of Taiwan anywhere - did you hear anything?

Defense stocks are down in line with the index, this environment is looking like February 2020.

A good hedge would be some puts on the index or to collar your position with options.

Thanks Glo, already hedged and continue to earn positive in the drop- China wants Taiwan under its thumb in the worst way- even though it's grown democratic for the past 60 or so years. China has been claiming the One China policy for quite some time now. They will not do anything offensive during the winter games, but as soon as they are over- all bets are off and China could militarily acquire Taiwan at any second it wanted to- ramifications of what the international community would do are muddy at this time.
