Hi @MJ DeMarco loved the fictional side of the story, read it few months ago now what sticks with me the most till this day,

Spoiler: The process saved them.

is how having started in the venture transformed their marriage.

I still remember vividly, how he just tried to build a cage for pets, it is the matter that he tried, as well realising their knife business was not going to work. I just realised he actually sold 1 of those cages, if my memory ain't wrong, ahahah, It all was just part of the process.

Loved the story and the guidance that went with it. I listened to it on audible and immediately thereafter purchased the book. I'm excited to have it and excited to be on my entrepreneurial path.

I'm from the Balkans, and cards are not used often here, so this was my first ever online purchase on Amazon, and I think it is truly the best decision I ever made.

I loved the book so far, especially the part about "bad mathematics" I've had so much pressure from my relatives to start college last year and this year too.


They told me:

Just get that piece of paper.
You're going to need it for a job in the future.

People will think lowly of you if you don't have a degree.

University isn't that expensive here, circa "2500-3000" Dollars per year, but still, I can't imagine wasting three years there and hanging out with losers who want to hang out in coffee shops and smoke weed all day long.



I'm going to buy this as a gift whenever one of my friends has their birthday!

Wow, I thought I was the only one; I'm in a similar situation, everyone, my parents and relatives, strangers when I, unfortunately, need to have a small talk with, start talking about how I must get a post-graduation degree
I don't; I can't waste more time. I'm already 28, and time is slipping. I feel it in my bones every day when I wake up

I've read the rat race escape and enjoyed it thoroughly, but I need to revisit it again and again. There was a lot to take in
It was interesting to see a married couple go through this process; I've seen my parents argue about money and a lot of things that the couple was going through, except my parents never thought about business or entrepreneurship
I'm single, so I couldn't imagine myself going through this voyage while reading the book; I know this is a bit weird, but when I read a book simultaneously, my head puts myself in the characters shoes
But yes, it has a lot, a lot of lessons, and ill reread it to grasp the concepts
I'll write a better review then and have much more to say
But this is it for now and I want my pass "I've read" pass now

I read "The Great Rat Race Escape ." It was very good and very valuable! I loved the story plus the information, it was very engaging! I thought it was perfect that the characters read the books I've read and listening to their reactions. So Good! I'll be referencing this book many times.

A book like this does not come along, the style was enjoyable and with the other two books really go well.

Very unique book and personally think it's the best out of the 3 MJ books. Alternating between fiction and non-fiction really works to 'see' the theory being applied.

I just finished reading this one this morning!

It was definitely my favorite of the three, and really enjoyed the half fiction half non-fiction aspect! It’s easy to understand and puts a lot more emotion behind the principles of the book and the impact that they can have.

Great book. I personally did not like the story that goes alongside the chapters. Maybe because I had already read the millionaire fastlane and unscripted . However, I should recognize MJ's courage to make a different book. Also, I think the story is good for people who are new to these topics. it gives examples and more context to understand the points.

Just finished reading The Great Rat Race Escape this morning. Had to go through it 2 times, once for notations and then a second time to determine how to exactly apply the principles to my current business and journey.

This is truly the entrepreneur's "executioner's manual". All the fundamental principles you need to successfully establish/grow your business and money systems are there. From ideation, to marketing, to mindset, to general 1st-class life advice (and SO much more) which can save anyone years of wandering and heartaches; it's all there. Truly a masterpiece worth millions.

Loved the book MJ! Ive listened to the audiobook twice through and now at it again. Love the detailed strategies with examples of their implementation in the storyline. It doesn't just challenge but Destroys many societal norms and expectations as you do also in previous books. Will be picking up a paperback copy to reference to for my own business endeavors. Ive been self employed for years since discovering TMF but still stuck in the rut of a specialized skill business. While it provides a "comfortable living" by many standards and gives me decent amount of flexibility, like taking a month or more off at a time, i feel that its got me chained in some golden handcuffs and i haven't been able to create a scalable specialized unit yet, But thats another story.
Your first book The Millionaire Fastlane changed my life back in 2014 and there's no going back to the old career focused mindset, but im still early on in my financial freedom journey. Again thanks for ruining my scripted 401k employee lifestyle! Lol
