Hi everyone.
My name is Krystian, and I'm in my 40s. I've read The Millionaire Fastlane back in 2016, I'm going through Unscripted now. Years back, the book gave me the nudge (kick in the nuts) I needed to take action, today Unscripted is doing the same (motivated me to join the forum for example).
Only now that I think about it, the memories are flowing in. I've actually read the book around the time I had my FTE (F*ck This Event) - it is a bit personal, and I'm not ready to share it just yet, but it did hurt.. a lot.
Just because it hurt, though, didn't mean I magically acquired skills to become an entrepreneur, or that my problems were solved, so I did the next best thing - I've found a job. I took a pay cut to get the opportunity to work with a few smart business people at the initial stage of the business - from product ideation, through creation to sales. I've seen successes and failures, and a year ago I've decided I'm ready to do things myself (spoiler: I've realized I have a long way to go).
Back to now: a year has passed since I started working on my product, sometimes things work, sometimes they don't. I've learned a lot. I've also learned that it's lonely - especially when things don't work out or when I get stuck. I'm lucky to have people that believe in me. That being said, they don't really understand what I'm doing. Many of them are secretly worried about me but are trying not to show it. Even though failure is part of the process, I don't want to worry them even further.
This is why I joined the forum - I'm hoping to meet a few like-minded souls, with whom I can share successes and failures, so we can learn from each and grow on our path to entrepreneurship.
Best,
K
