Hey Y'all ChatGPT thinks my idea is amazing (Shocker). I would love to hear what the humans have to say haha.
-Scenario, I produce a CENTS Healthy Food product, its newly launched since August. I sell at local Farmers/City Markets, sales/feedback have been phenomenal.
I just finished my paper work to Sell WHOLESALE! (Meaning I could finally sell to stores, Permit is pending)
-It will take a few months before I get my permit (Likely Spring), this is all new to me
Quick Question: When/How should I start making introductions at potential stores?
........Leverage Plan........
-Use these months to build a massive lead/affiliate list, that I can "Turn on" once I'm in my first store. This would give me leverage as I'm bringing aligned avatars to their store to buy my product.
-Focus on getting affiliates/ambassadors/local influencers (This will be my main marketing strategy going forward). It's on brand.
.......The Hook......
-Run ads (Local only) to a Large free Giveaway (Think e-bike) as it aligns with my avatars. It will also be bundled with a month's worth of my Product.. 2nd place Merch etc..
-People who act like ideal ambassadors meaning (They get signups) will get Bonus entries. (Favoring this behavior).. Leaderboard etc..
-Ideal situation is it goes locally viral, I get a 1000 ambassadors, 3000 entries, someone gets an e-bike... This all culminates around the same time I get my Wholesale permit, bringing a ton of momentum and leverage with me as I negotiate my way into a first few stores.
-Might be able to have local companies help sponsor the giveaway as my avatars will align with theirs, plus I'll add a charity angle since that's apart of our brand too.
....Why I landed on this....
-I'm beyond the pre-order stage
-I have limited POS's since winter markets are few and far in between
-I can't ship my product online (Without a wholesale permit)
-don't want to run ads for a product they can't buy
-I want momentum going into these deals, don't want to be a no-body.
So I'm kind of in a weird place where I want to build Hype and Demand, but people cannot easily get my product... Until I get into stores and/or spring markets start again. So I'm trying to hook and Hype them with a giveaway of something they can get, that is something my Avatars would want, and ideally transfer them into customers of my actual product. (Little weak I know).
So! What do you guys think? Let me have it!!! I want to use this time to my advantage, so when I get my permit, I can dominate.
