Hello from Wisconsin! I have spent the couple days taking in the content on this forum and I'm happy to be a part of a group with a strong desire to create a profitable impact on the lives of millions.
Since reading The Millionaire Fastlane , I have been focused on the quantifiable: idea and execution. The fact that these can be measured and put into a formula is really important, and it sets up points of reference based on numbers, not emotions or thoughts.
I have been involved with design of some kind for as long as I remember, and just graduated with a degree in Industrial Design (product design). I used to associate 'design' with 'art' but the differences between the two are powerful: design is typically based on research and certain parameters (i.e. high chairs, strollers, medical devices, etc), while art is typically expression. Also, while they both involve a creative process, the process of design is more quantifiable and there is a lot of math and critical thinking involved.
Leaving any of these things out (math, creative thinking and the idea of a "quantifiable process") from business/entrepreneurship absolutely destroys the chances of creating wealth. It is easy to find similarities between the training I've received the past few years of my life and the concepts in The Millionaire Fastlane, and I'm excited to use them to impact the lives of millions with everyone here.
