Ideas for email newsletter/marketing

I'm stumped on the content!

I'm looking to begin sending emails to my energy customers. They are not recieving bills from me but from the provider I brokered. So the purpose of my emails will start as a medium for referals and brand building/recognition. I want my customers to always remember what company brokered their great deal so they will be able to tell friends and relatives should they complain. I also want to broker another deal with them after their contract runs out.

Eventually I plan to sell adspace in these emails for unrelated things like cable or insurance for instance. As an endorcement from the company that found them a super low energy rate will hook them up with another good deal.

I'm having writers block about what to tell them about! I want to send a weekly newsletter I guess. What would y'all send to energy customers?
