Hey all,
I am looking to build an app and have come here for advice. I do not have the skills to build an app. I'm not a coder nor am I interested to go down this route as it's a huge investment of my time to learn everything from A-Z and this would cause a dent in my current business that actually keeps me afloat.
With that said, I've been down the app creation road before. I have built an app already using a freelancer on freelancer.com. The freelancer was alright, but since it was my first "app" gig I know I made some mistakes going down this route.
With that said, the reason I created this thread in the "Internet /Mobile Apps /Software" section is because I know there are guys like me who will outsource their app ideas and wanted to know if there's any suggestions of credible sources that you guys had good experience with? Here's what I already know:
1). I could go again to Freelancer.com and post a project.
2). I could do the above at upwork.com.
3). I could post an ad in my local area looking for a talented app developer.
4). I could seek out a JV (joint venture) with a talented app developer, however, if this person isn't in my current circle, or someone I can meet up locally I will not peruse this route. Recipe for disaster here that I foresee (communication, personality, work ethic, distant business relationship, etc...).
Apart from these 4 points I was hoping someone with experience could chime in. Going through the whole app creation once I learned a lot about AdMob, Google Developer Accounts, rules and regulations with uploading your app to Google, the materials needed for app store (image size, description, ASO, etc...). Since I'm a mobile marketer I know my way around app promotion. It's just creating the app that's the missing key LOL (like it is for most of us). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for reading!
Best,
Georgy
