Okay I have just recently started with affiliate marketing and my host is hostgator.
I know there are a number of members here that do IM as well but I need some guidance.

When I got hostgator, I printed out the sheet that said, Thank you for your order with Hostgator and I got the information for logging into the billing system and the password and the login to the control panel as well along with the password

But I am currently having some issues with them but they are good at the support emails. But I have a couple of question for those who can possibly help me

1)What is the billing system for? Is that so you can pay for the webhost?

2)I do not understand what a cpanel is for my domain. can someone explain to me, please

3)If I wanted to start a new website, people say buy a domain at namecheap and transfer it to hostgator. Does hostgator also allow you to buy a domain name also?
