The adults who care for these young people spend a significant chunk of every shift writing reports. Not because they want to. Because the law requires it. Every shift generates a daily report, a handover, session notes, incident records, correspondence logs. Every document has to meet regulatory standards. Every document can be inspected at any time.
The problem is that most of these reports are written from memory at the end of a long shift. Adults are exhausted. Critical details get missed. Safeguarding information gets buried. Managers spend hours every week rejecting documents and sending them back for rewrites.
This is not a small home problem. This is a sector-wide crisis. There are over 2,000 registered children's residential care homes in the UK. Every single one has this problem.
So I started building a solution.
Adults capture short voice updates throughout their shift as events happen. An AI layer asks clarifying questions to make sure nothing critical is missed. At the end of the shift the system assembles a complete, legally compliant, human report automatically.
No more writing from memory. No more rejected documents. No more managers spending their days fixing what should have been right the first time.
I have real access to this market. I am not building blind. I have direct expert input, the regulatory framework mapped, and the first prototype in build right now.
