I'm planning on purchasing some products from China. I need some tips from people who have used L/C. The safest way seems to be using letter of credit through my bank. Do I need to have a business account to do this? Any other tips will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

I have found that smaller banks are much more likely to work with you on L/C vs the big corporate banks.
