Being on reels or posting anything on relations made me feel cringy. I personally use only Facebook and am strongly against social media in general.
For few weeks now I haven't posted anything on my business accounts. Just thinking of it made me upset. But today something theoretically obvious occurred to me.
There are two approaches:
1. Using social media as a marketing funnel.
2. Using social media as building community.
Of course I put clients first and want to provide for them as much as I can. Until now I was perceiving social media as a tool to only get more clients. That's why there was this palpable feeling of fakeness for me.
Don't get me wrong. Second approach will also help with first one by creating hot movement of clients, but this is the mindset that I talk about.
Now I realised that EVERY community has its own structure which requires:
1. Value
2. Lider
3. Relationships
And
4. ENTERTAINMENT
Even this forum has all of these aspects as a community. You see where I am going?
DECLARATION OF MAKE SOME ACTIONS:
That's why I've stopped thinking of myself as a marketer that uses social media channel which is based on fakeness. But as a entrepreneur (lider) that builds value (my services), have a contact with my clients and connects them between themselves (relationships). And of course – entertain them. That is the natural order but I wasn't aware of it.
My goals:
- Make a simple system on my website that will invite and take joiners on board
- Ensure that welcoming (emails etc.) are set just right
- Invite my ex-clients, clients, friends and employees to the community
- Open a CRM which is crucial for my tutoring business
- Make a program of events to bring additional value
- AND of course, start posting on social media with the thought on mind that I build community
That is the way to humanize my business.
What do you think? Do you have any suggestions to improve my project before execution?
