Hello everyone! My name is Alex and I'm so glad to join this forum.
I'm from Mexico and after I read the millionaire fast lane at the end of last year, I decided to drop out of college since I didn't see my degree useful for my goals. At that moment, I decided that I wasn't gonna conquer my dreams in that small city, so I moved to Guadalajara a few months later to start my Fastlane journey.
It was a major risk, I's kind of surreal that in March I was still in school and now I am in Guadalajara alone.
I was so disgusted by the city I lived and the people there, my life is just meant to grow and explore my passions, not about sitting in a cubicle and saving money.
It is also nice to be part of a nice community like this one because everyone at my city said I'm crazy and my dreams are unachievable.
Here is my plan:
I picked up a job a few days ago at a call center just to pay the bills while I learn how to code, read the rest of MJ's books and write in my twitter account. I have also read the threat of Rob O'Rourke, and I think web development is a good place to start.
I'm going to self promote my twitter account in the self promotion section of the forum, if you guys want to help me and I will follow back anyone who does.
Also if there are any Fastlane folks in Guadalajara, send me a msg so we can hang.
That's it for now, I have to go to work.
