Every day. I don't miss, even if I feel like shit and half-arse it, I still workout every single day.

I do bodyweight exercises only - push ups, dips, towel pull ups. Built a better looking body than all my gym-goer friends yet I still get persuaded on the regular to go to the gym because "bodyweight is not enough".

I also like taking long walks every day.

While I can't be in a gym with weights currently because of a medical issue, every day that I do not want to let stress control my life I exercise in some form.

Physical activity with the right mental association is the anecdote to life's challenges.

working out is the only thing in the world that can guarantee 100% ROI on effort. You put effort in, you get results.

No other investment can guarantee anything near that on this planet.

3 times a week minimum, typically every other day. I've come to find diet is equally, if not more important. Workouts don't mean shit if your energy is cheetos and mt dew.

Mainstream western "food" is tantamount to poison.

Been doing crossfit for over 12 months but the last 3 months it’s been 6 times a week, previously I wasn’t eating enough protein and thus would be too sore for a few days after a workout, got my diet better balanced and no problems training every day now.

I do a push/pull/legs split. I do 5 days a week. Pull day is deadlift, barbell rows, and cable pull-downs. Push is bench press, incline bench press, military press, lateral raise, close grip bench press, and tricep extensions. Leg day is back squat, front squat, and lunges. I usually do 3 sets of hanging leg raises for abs each leg day.

i train 7 days a week.

Mix of weights/running/olympic rings/kick boxing.

I was lucky to form the habit early in life, so at this point it's just about maintaining health with incremental improvements in physique.

I'm pretty sure 7 days a week is overtraining.. resting is just as important

I would say if you are weight training 7 days a week then sure, but as i said some days i train kickboxing or i go for a long run.

Never had any major injuries and always feeling great.

The caveat is that everyones body is different. I sleep a lot to recover and my diet is pretty solid.

I aimed to exercise 7 times a week and I ended up doing 3-5 session per week. I am good with that.

There was a period I tried Aiming twice a day And ended up achieving at least once a day, there is too much fatigue that I cannot do other work properly. The strain on the central nervous system.

Maybe someone has a solution.

I read a medical research that health benefit increases with exercise volume until it reaches like 400min/week-thats like one hour a day. So In theory I should work out more.

Yoga & Tai Chi 5-6 times a week - keeps the mind sharp, peaceful, & the stress level low.
That & healthy food... :)

Every single day.

4x HIIT usually 30-60min
3x mobility/primal routine or yoga

Watch this. And this is an elite trainer.

From experience, I completely agree.

I am familiar with him from training GSP, and he emphasizes rest days, a common problem for pretty much every single fighter out there is over training, resting is just as important if not more important to let your body recover. 7 days seems like total overkill.

Not if you're training the way Firas is saying.

That video basically confirmed my training style so I'm happy to see that (also a big fan of Firas and GSP).

People are always shocked when they see me actually train.

It's generally light and fun, rarely overly intense (most people think I'm going to train like an animal because they see me as a super fit guy).

In fact the only time i go intense is when i am training with someone who is egging me on (rare)

Then it ends up being a dick swinging contest (ego) haha.

Let me put it this way, i have been training 7 days a week for over 7 years, and i have plenty of energy.

The only times i have felt sore is when i was running too long (tight calves) and when i am lifting too heavy weight (joint pain).

For me is a short run every morning and usually the gym in the evening. Once or twice a week I skip the gym and go for a swim or a long run. The gym is split into push/pull/leg days. Thinking about starting either boxing, kickboxing, or something similar in that direction, any experience?

I used to hit the gym 3-4 times per week. The classic drill, pecs/biceps/chest/shoulders/back/legs, watching motivational videos featuring Schwarzenegger and "no pain, no gain" messages.
Then I realized I was following a script, so I stopped and now I follow a hunger-gatherer routine, which is weeks of no efforts punctuated with random bursts of intense efforts like running or a short, high intensity workout.

I have trained both kickboxing and boxing, kickboxing is more fun as you get to use legs/knees/elbows but try them both out and see what you are drawn to.

You are going to need to lower the intensity at the gym if you start a martial art too.

You'll figure it out in the first week anyway haha.

Good luck mate.

I like to ride so I usually ride spin bike couple days a week and mountain bike a couple days a week if I can. I also lift weights (full circuit) once or twice a week, mixing in functional/core workouts. I recently started doing medium weight and more reps...once I get to a point where I can't go anymore, I take a 5 second break, and then do a 15 second negative, repeating this 5 times. Great workout and I only do 3 sets for each muscle group.
