Greetings from Brazil. My name is Fellipe and I am 23yo.
My parents have a wedding photography studio and since I was young I began to work with them. Although its definately not fastlane its a fine job after all. So my whole life has been around photography. I was sure I would work with it for the rest of my life, you can never be a millionaire but you can make good money after all. But this was my plan before I read THE BOOK. I would like to thank MJ for such an inspirational piece he put together. I was happy I have a lot in common with him. I wonder if MJ is an intp...
So as I finished it, suddenly a lot of ideas began to pop in my mind. Seeing the world from a producer perspective made the whole difference.
Since all my life i have been somewhat related with wedding photography I began to think in a fastlane enterprise to serve brides here in Brazil. But I quickly saw that its a very saturated market. Everyone thinks about serving brides so I thought, who serves the ones who serve the brides?
So as a wedding photographer I decided to build a kind of online school, with articles all related to improving the craft of wedding photography.
So far I already registered my domain and installed wordpress with a great community theme which will suit my goals nicely.
As MJ taught me, you first have to solve a need and then the money will begin to flow towards yoir direction, so I think I will leave the site with free access while I develop my skills as a teacher and writer, and while the websime becomes popular.
There is no website like this here in Brazil. The wedding phptographers here dont have information source besides a few photographers selling workshops, so I really believe my idea. Ah, and there is one yearly convention, that almost 1500 wedding photographers attend. So there is clearly a need for a website like this one I am building,
The main roadbump (and Im glad for it, keeps road free) will be organizing my own knowledge and also research new content to justify a membership later.
Also companies that sells products for phptgraphers can advertise and I can make moneythis way as well.
