Some of you may be aware of this already. This is for those that aren't.
I was over visiting at the ISC offices in Redwood City, California a few months ago. If you aren't a strong IT person, ISC maintains BIND which is the primary name service software running on the internet today. Turns all those www.somewhere.com names into addressable numbers that make the interwebs work. But that's not important really for this post.
Well, ISC hosts some of the archive.org servers there. Once again, unimportant.
I see a lot of people here digging for information on how people get started in the business that they are in and the internet archive (AKA waybackmachine) is an interesting tool. Along with an archive of music, free books, software, images, etc...they also archive webpages. Sometimes when I find a success story involving a website, I use the archive to go back in time and see what the early incarnations of a website looked like.
Now, mind you not every single page and site is indexed, but there are some great snapshots of websites to be browsed (including some early FLF).

Anyhow, break time is over, back to your businesses or lambos.
