How did I get here? Another introduction story.

Hey there!
So my name is Al and I recently found out about this “fast lane” life.
The TLDR.
“My millionaire buddy told me to read the book so here I am”.


I invented a product, put a provisional patent on it, and even began creating a brand. My buddy from “back home” that I’ve known since I was 16 grew up to be a self made multi millionaire in college.
So I went to him for guidance and eventually as my business has progressed he lead me to the direction of this book, then the book lead me to here, and here I am.

Really though, I've been involved in my family's business my whole life. Everything I learned over the decade with them plus conversations with my friend over the years had me formulating my own rudimentary version of the Fastlane. So I first must thank you for validating my views, as I have been pressured and shamed over the years for not obtaining anything more than an AA and always wanting to work for myself. I gave up on my own projects to funnel my time into making my family plenty of money and seeing very little of it.
I have always known my brain was way more valuable than a employee position, yet I struggled to get my thoughts and plans in order. It was like they had been filed by a vindictive ADD squirrel on amphetamines. So the formulas and examples you used were fantastic for my getting that squirrel to zen down a little bit.

I'm still figuring out how to best use the forum to my advantage. I'm like a social networking neanderthal, so the struggle is real. Just means its time to learn something new eh?
