Hello Everyone!!!
First of all I just want to say that I am extremely grateful for this community!!! I am really excited to be here and I hope to provide value to anyone I can, It is awesome to see everyone on their own journey, and although different, we all seem to be striving toward a similar destination! I have read the book and I am very excited to be a part of this group.
To start, here are a few ways might provide help or info if anyone needs... info on any of these...
1. Furniture Retail - I have been doing this for 9 years. (7 yrs Store Manager)
2. Tony Robbins - I have gone to two of his seminars. UPW in 14' and Date with Destiny in 15'.
3. Polisci/Legal Studies - I have a BA in Political Science and a Minor in Legal Studies. (whatever its worth, I regret going)
4. I do somewhat ok at time management, budgeting, and living modestly to invest money instead on business.
Separately here is my journey so far...
-I went back to finish school a few years ago. (I had previously quit to only work as I started a family)
-The plan was to go to law school. I graduated in the top 1% of my class last May 15'.
-In Dec 15', during DWD seminar, I decided to instead start my own business. (Somewhat a way of burning the boats)
-This year I read FLM and it confirmed my decision to start my own business was absolutely the correct choice.
-I need to move so right now I am researching how to make a successful buy and hold purchase (duplex).
-Thank you G_Alexander for your post on how to Stop paying rent.
-I am reading a book on real estate and also building up my credit. I have no trade-lines on my credit report because I have been living with no debt in preparation of going to Lawschool full time. I just got a discover card in the mail which I plan on using as a debit card and paying it off monthly. I will also be getting two more cards.
-My major goal however is to start my own business. I have so many Ideas, and I have a bit of capital to use from my 401, I just need to zero in on one and get some traction.
That's mostly what's going on for me in a nutshell... Thank you for reading, and I look forward to being a contributing member to this community!
