Hello, I believe this is my first time creating a thread. I've been reading books and have been a member of this forum for 2 years, but now I feel stuck and need help.
I'm 28, living in Serbia. For the past 8–9 years I've wanted to leave the 9-5 and forge my own path. I discovered entrepreneurship, but kept jumping between skills and models, freelancing, consulting, real estate, trading and so on. Every time I committed to something, something else caught my eye. It's a form of shiny object syndrome, except it's compounded by genuinely believing I could excel at each thing, which makes it harder to let go. It goes in circles.
I've done a lot of internal work: psychology, MBTI, self-reflection, and I feel I have a clear picture of who I am and what I'm good at: logic, common sense, problem-solving, and thinking outside the box. I hate being constrained.
Lately I've been seriously considering learning to code and building something around a real problem. I understand it's a long road, and I have the right mindset. I want to be a founder, not a freelancer. I want to make a change and solve meaningful problems. I believe SaaS is the right path for me specifically. It's just that 8 years have already passed, and I'm afraid I'll waste more time.
