Cheeky intro… here we go!

My name is Danial, I’m 19 years old and based in London (great vibes, shitty weather).

I’ve been wanting to be an “entrepreneur” for as long as I can remember, but to be honest, I haven’t really acted on it at all.

Straight after finishing school, I got a job working as a document controller for a construction company… and almost following a cliche, I hated having a job (specifically because I felt like I had no impact on the world or even an impact on anyone around me, whether that was financially helping my parents completely or physically helping someone etc).

Throughout the time I had at the job, I’d dream of living that “self made millionaire” lifestyle, having a bunch of money, not needing to work for someone else, having that freedom to do whatever you want, and more specifically fulfilling my biggest goal of relieving my parents financial stress

So, whilst I was in the job, I tried to start a Facebook marketing agency (aka SMMA) by following a course created by someone (LOL), and I didn’t do anything. In my off time I didn’t work on it as much as I should have, and if anything, it probably wouldn’t have even passed the CENTS framework. I didn’t even do market research or anything.

So, what did I do, I blamed having a job on my lack of success and made the decision to leave the job, to work on the business - not realising that it’s actually all my own responsibility. Whether this was the right decision with what I have learnt and know now, I don’t know, but it has happened.

Then what? I’ve been reading UNSCRIPTED

I realised that this business idea is not really the one - it has a low barrier to entry (anyone can pick up the phone and start cold calling about advertising), my service heavily relies on two third party’s (e.g. Facebook - my ad accounts could be shut down at any moment which would stop advertising completely), it’s not entirely unique which means I would need executional excellence (and I don’t think I could do THAT well tbh, which makes me feel like I was building a fraudulent business)

So, what now? I’ve been reading UNSCRIPTED, and instead of chasing money, I just want to help people, solve a need, and I already have an idea that I want to try and execute.

This was a pretty long intro, but I’m fed up and need a change in this life of mine and I’m willing to do whatever it takes

Thanks if you read this far down :)

Welcome aboard. Appreciate the intro.

The guy who sold you the course made millions.

You made hundreds.
