Hello all
I am planning to open a Shawarma food store in Manila. Philippines.
I have some name suggestion. I would appriciate if you could help vote for a name.
Any other name which is not in the list are also appriciated.

Hope you enjoy your stay.
Good job being a welcome committee...

What’s the goal of this shop? To run it as a family business and only own one? Or to make it a chain of restaurants?

If you’re going to make multiple locations, take Shawarma out of the name. You’ll want a brand name, something that doesn’t automatically give a positive or negative connotation. Something like “Mediterranean Breezes” or anything that gives you wider options of food to serve.

Welcome to the forum! We hope you stick around for more than naming advice.

Never even heard of Shawarma or what it is until this post! LOL

Personally, out of all the names given, I vote Mr. Shawarma. You could even put a face on the brand name and give it a mascot, like what Jollibee did with the bee and KFC with the Colonel's face.

I'm by no means an expert in naming things, but have you considered doing any sort of testing to see which name appeals to your target market?

Most of us aren't in Manila so we aren't your target market. I don't know exactly how you would test restaurant names, but it's an idea to consider.

If I were to choose one of your names, it would be Shawarma Island.

Need more info...

Are you selling on a street corner?
In a strip mall?
In a nice standalone building?
How do you want to be perceived as a brand/product?
