Hi everyone, my name is Joe. I am new to the forum. I am 45 years old and am about a year into my journey of moving into the fast lane. I am still a W-2 employee but since May of 2020 I have bought three investment properties and invested in three different RE syndications. I am working on continuing to build my Real Estate portfolio and my passive income and hope to be able to drop my W-2 job in the next 2-3 years. Once I can cut my W-2 hrs down enough my goal is to become a REP. I am excited to be part of this group and as I continue to educate myself, another goal is to surround myself with like minded individuals who can hold me accountable and help me reach my goals.

Welcome, your RE portfolio must be doing pretty well if prices keep going up 5% per month.

The appreciation is nice, but I am not as concerned about that right now. I bought properties that cash flow and am hoping to hold them for some time. I know the actual value will fluctuate as the market fluctuates. No matter their market value, they all should continue to cash flow.

Hi Joe, I'm 37 myself so I think I might have some things to learn from you. I've just started being able to save money in my paycheque (£500 each month), so I'm interested in what I can do with it... once I've reached my next goal of £18,000 of savings, that is.

Like you, I'm here because the people I know don't have the same Fastlane mindset, and I want to be around people who do.
