Hello all fellow fastliners or people willing to be them!
I've almost finished the book now, thanks heaps to MJ DeMarco, this is indeed eye-opening book I wish I could read in my 17-18 y.o. Now I am already in my 40s, I live in Brisbane, Australia, but this is not my native country and I had to start from zero.
Last year I realized that it does not matter how much I earn, the more I earn the more we spend(this needs to be corrected and 2019 will be different) the more taxes I pay, in the end working 50-60 hours gives you an extra 15-20 hundreds at max as a professional worker. Wishing to control it I created PTY company, this made things a bit better, but I am still trading my time for money. Reading TMF book I started to see the drawbacks of my current business model, it is poorly scalable and most importantly it requires my time to be traded in(literally there is almost no difference to slowline). I will have to continue with it for time being because family needs to be fed, but with time I will replace it with proper CENTS model or business/es
Currently I don't have firm business idea yet, I have several ones I want to try during this 2019 year. I will create separate thread once I start implementing them to track my own progress and help others.
Other important thing happened to me as well - with the help of TMF book I was able to make up my 'rough' financial plan(I tried to make one all my life with little success) and finally see the goals I need to achieve to make myself and my family happy.
