Hello All. My name is Jeb

I’ll attempt to make this short. I was born in Phoenix AZ, but grew up in Sacramento, CA. I grew up with Rich Kids since I went to a private school that my family could barely afford. Nothing wrong with it, but I hated the often moments of arriving back from a “field trip†on the school bus to find someone’s parents bought one of my classmates a brand new Toyota Spyder while I get to bike home to my family’s 1 bedroom apartment. Didn’t quite understand this since my mother was a good person but had little money. Therefore, overtime I just ended up believing that somehow Rich people = bad if good people = poor. Not a good beginning :coco:

I began hating academic school, doing all I can to Avoid it past High school graduation. I tried a Bible College for a year, purely for the fact that 5 of my friends were going. It was nice in a sense that I got to spend 1 semester in a re-constructed Hot Springs resort and another semester in Hawaii. I’ve traveled to a handful of Asian countries and then returned home to find myself broke and no degree. I decide to get educated, finish college as recommended within 3 years. Immediately I receive a Job as an Information Systems Analyst (nice way of Saying IT guy who plugs in your keyboard cable every time you kick it out.) Yet after 9 Months I hit the Learning Cap and Realize how stressed and unchallenged I really am.

I discover the 4 hour work week by Tim Ferriss and apply much of it into my daily life. As a result, I somehow manage to find 4-6 hours of free time while at work and still get promoted…. Although tempted by the pay increase, I quickly realize more duties are following. Continuing my search online for help, I find Smartpassiveincome.com which one podcast with MJ DeMarco as an Interviewee opens my eyes and I realize that every word that MJ spoke was absolutely true. I discover the lie that I’ve been fed and learn that there is a better way to earn an income by re-applying my 8 hour day into myself instead of my employer.

I bought the book, I’m currently in chapter 31 and very very lucky to have found this Forum.

My goals and Long range Plans from here are on out are as follows, but not in order:
Short Term:
Quit my job in 2012
Find a way to provide value through the internet which can produce a minimum of $60,000 a year.
Move to South Korea within 5 years
Live consciously for myself every day instead of a drone for someone else

Long Term:
Be location free in all that I do.
Eventually achieve the goal of producing $500,000 in one year.
Purchase a $15-$20k Well for the Water Project as a Victory Dance to my success. :groove:


How do I plan to do this? :huh2:
I have no Idea. I’ve been testing with E-book writing and selling. I’ve succumb to a few marketing scams. And it seems that I just can’t stop buying that Next book that makes me believe it will get me where I’m trying to be.

After Reading MJ’s Book and learning what I feel is the truth, I now see that my process is in action, and I need to stop feeling defeated every time I fail. I am glad to be here knowing that I will be able to make an impact with the rest of you. One day I’ll look back at this post and remember that this was only the beginning. I cannot wait to be a part of this group and contribute with each other.
