I'm a 24-year-old Atlantan woman who is trying to get her business off the ground. My husband and I saw a need, and, after asking many women, decided that this niche needed to be filled.
We want to sell specialty bras online. While this has been done before, no one's doing it effectively in the States. I've ordered from our future competition and decided that we could do it better.
We've:
Started the business.
Designed the logo/branding.
Built a great web app that allows a woman to measure herself from the comfort of her own home.
Designed the site and all subsequent pages.
Established accounts/relationships with vendors.
We're:
Coding the backend.
Finishing the business plan.
Building out an office.
Buying equipment.
So, that's the quick and dirty of what we're trying to do. I hope to learn all I can here.
