yes, it has, big time! I'm originally from Finland. I left that behind 2004 and moved to London, that was a weather upgrade for me already! After 9 years I moved to Cyprus, huge difference. always sunny and warm, of course, in winter, the houses/flats can get very cold if you do not have good heating.

After 6 years there, I moved to Spain, Costa Del Sol, and have been here for the last 5 years. There's no way I'm moving to any gloomy weather country anymore. It's nice to visit Finland and other places, but I prefer a sunny climate. It makes a difference in everyday life for sure.
