I've been doing a course through Harvard online and whatever can be said about formal institutions and their effect on society etc etc the structure of their course is incredible and I thought for those looking to develop an online course, this could really be held as a benchmark. It's very well laid out, it is fast, topics are usually covered in 3 to 4 minutes and somehow has an addictive quality to it. The peer-reviewed responses to your work also lend a feeling of stakes to the course which I find is missing in platforms such as udemy.
If you're thinking of or in the midst of developing a course, this could be a good investment to gather ideas for proper execution and scale. Cheers
