As we saw in MJ's STFU video, many people have "ideas" that just stay "ideas". I would like to start a thread about people/products/services that turned out to be Fastlane, because of an "idea", especially the ones that met 4 or 5 of the commandments...Need, Entry, Control, Scale, and Time.
Hopefully some of the well executed "ideas" listed will help someone here come up with the next brilliant idea.
I will start with a couple "ideas" that I think were great...
1-800-JUNK - We pick up your junk and take it away so you don't have to go through the hassle of doing it yourself...renting a truck, loading it all, driving to the dump, returning the truck...etc.
PODS - We drop off a storage unit to you. You fill it up and we pick it up. We take it to the storage facility for you. You don't have to go through the hassle of doing it yourself...renting a truck, loading it all, getting people to help, hurting you back, driving to the storage place, returning the truck...etc.
P90X - For those who haven't heard of it, it is a home workout on dvd. It's well marketed on tv infomercials. We make a dvd showing you how to get in shape from home. You don't have to pay to go to the gym, or for a personal trainer. Now that the dvd's are made, they just sit back and sell them. I actually use it and love it.
