Article is dated 6/29. First I have seen of it, but I have not seen anything on it here at the forum. When I googled it, it looks like they started rolling it out platform by platform in late April. Has anyone here done anything with it?

For me?
I recall public interview with Eric Schmidt (previous google CEO)
he said "Amazon is our competitor". It was some 5y ago.

For google?
I guess it will end up anti-trust lawsuit against google.
Even if won, it will be meaningless - probably some slap on wrist fine.

For amazon?
Google woke up some 15 years to late. People already go directly to amazon website
when they need to "search" for products.

For You?
Be warned.
If you will depend on "free google listing", you'll wake up with no business
when google shareholders realize that giving away clicks doesn't increase their ROA.
Google will either kill the project or will start to charge.
