- Do you ask around as to which stocks your friends think are good? (Why do you do that? Because you don’t want to take a bit of effort of researching or reading and be responsible for your financial future?)
- Do you ask some rich friend or business owner what he’s investing in, so you can follow the same?
- Do you keep signing up for investment newsletters that promise you “could” get X% returns - just to see what they’re recommending?
- Do you buy those recommendations, because hey, they did their extensive research and have made massive profits in the past (no, they usually don’t disclose their losses).
