I'm in tutoring business as a college student. Few months ago I started a business when I gave private lessons to some high school students in order to gain experience and find their needs. I believe I succeeded, cuz many ideas occured to me from my clients grumbling about education system.
Now I will be hiring few people to do the job while I can deal with finding customers and improving my service.
Today the first customer has been set on tutoring with my employe this week. Moreover, few clients are scheduled on tutoring with others when vacations ends. Feels great to not doing everything by myself. It is one of the first steps to becoming a leader.
Unfortunately, this lead still came through me. People recommend me and then I transfer them to my team. It is like a pyramid-business model, when I am on top gaining customers just to send them down to others. That makes it difficult cuz people want to have tutoring with me and are not convinced by working with my employees at first. Transfering customers is abled only because of trust they give me.
How can I connect people more directly? Do you have any advice in managing people? How can I automatize human-based business in the future?
