Fastlane Fantasy Football - Year 2

It's almost that time of year... FOOTBALL SEASON!

For those who don't know, we had the 1st Fastlane Fantasy Football League last year, and I'd say it was pretty successful.

If you're interested in participating again, please post here! I believe we had a league of ten members last year, but I think we can go up to 12 members this year if there is enough interest.

The league fee was $20 last year. We can do that again, or we can raise it if everyone is willing.

I know there were also some complaints about using Yahoo last year, so we can consider a switch to ESPN (which provides FREE live scoring).

If you were in the league last year and were an active participant, you will get priority to return as a member of the league for year two.

If you have any questions or are interested in joining, please post! We will likely draft at the end of August, maybe early September.

I'm in too ... but Yankees, can we USE DEFAULT SCORING? I lost 3 games last year because you modified the scoring ... A QB touchdown should be 6 points, NOT 3.

I agree with MJ. My mind is so used to "normal" scoring I get all messed up when leagues do them different.

Works for me, guys! I just used the scoring from the other league I was in. I'm fine with default scoring, though.

I wish to avenge my squad that missed the playoffs last year, and, of course to dethrone Merkins.

I prefer the standard scoring too.

I think I heard that yahoo is providing free stat tracker (live scoring) this year? Not 100% on that though.

But I am in for this year....ESPN/Yahoo and for whatever amount of money we decide on. Hopefully we can get some new players in here this year as well.

I'm in... of course if you desire an a$$ whipping unseen ever before in history of fantasy football.

That last week before opening season is kinda crazy, but if you can set a date ASAP for the draft, it would be appreciated. I have a draft Friday night Aug 28th and another draft Labor Day Sept 3rd. I'm going away for family vaca from 29th thru the 2nd. If my wife doesn't kill me for spending so much time on football drafts, then you'll all have to suffer the consequences of my presence in FF... but by all means don't set the date on my account, I'll try to work around you guys.

just a disclosure: I am a 3 time superbowl champ and 1 time runner up in one of the leagues. (as he holds trophies and belts and dances around in boxer briefs)

As far as the draft goes, I'll try to get it done as soon as we can. I'm going to be away until the 16th or so, and then I leave for my first semester of college on the 25th, so maybe we can get it done sometime between then (the 16th and 25th).

It would be nice to get 12. I am in. Early draft sounds good to me. I will be hit or miss due to my schedule whenever it is though, honestly.
