Experiment: hiring students as salespeople for d2d home services?

Facebook ads start to work for me, however here's the problem:
I've logged 50km today on an electric bike delivering them, while on my average day selling d2d, I would drive to one spot and "clear" the region out (as in window cleaning, of course)

And something I noticed about Irish market in particular, is that there are lots of students from other countries on visas that don't allow being an entrepreneur. Meaning, if you are on a student visa, you can't start a business. And there is also a lot of students looking for work, cheap.

Not in the lead acquisition cost way, but as a way to concentrate jobs closer to the region for me and my technicians - I'm thinking of hiring D2D salespeople to go around and pitch window cleaning, pressure washing and gutter cleaning.
Another advantage is that going D2D allows you to really focus your outreach on specific houses, which allows for - of course - better margins. When going D2D I'm selling ONLY in regions where houses are on average more expensive than 800mEUR.

An aspect of my market unlike US is that even rich houses are tiny in Ireland - biggest houses have 12-14 windows, poorer regions have 6-8. So high volume is necessary and the deal volume is 40-60 EUR. My guess you even inexperienced students can't mess this up!

I'll be starting my Master's soon so I won't have time to go D2D, however my business needs leads (of course), and having D2D salespeople may allow to tap into better margins on the technician side.

So far I've posted stuff like this on Facebook part-time/student jobs:

On the other hand, giving such "developing" jobs to students should be good for them too, so I view this as a positive too.

This is an experiment. We'll see how it goes.
