In Max Tegmark's book, Life 3.0, there is a fictional story about a small group called the omegas who have access to a super intelligent AI called Prometheus that nobody else has access to. They use it to accomplish incredible things, including taking over the government.
Believe it or not, if you are in a sales job, or probably a lot of other jobs, you actually are similar to the omegas right now.
It might feel like everybody on the internet has access and understands how all of this AI stuff works and what is going on with it. I would encourage you to take a look at your own personal environment. Do the people around you that you are competing with, perhaps in a sales job competing for clients, actually know and understand, or even trust in, the ability to use AI?
The truth is, most of your colleagues have no idea what it is or how it works.
And quite frankly, most of them will not for a while.
If nobody else around you that you are competing with in your workplace understands the usage of these tools, you basically own Prometheus in a world that has no idea it exists!
The reason I know this is because I am in the situation right now.
I work in renting apartments, and the technology that I've been able to set up is so far advanced compared to the other people doing this job that I am competing against. They can barely get in contact with any of the leads because my Prometheus AI is so well set up and catches every little thing that slips through the cracks!
The truth is, if you are in a sales job, the best salesperson isn't really going to win anymore. It's actually going to be the best salesperson who is able to effectively set up AI systems that do powerful things.
The old school guy who is good at sales but knows no technology becomes obsolete the second a tech-savvy individual comes into his environment.
Just remember this: most of us, if not all of us, currently own Prometheus, and nobody else knows about it. You can take over the government within your environment.
In three to five years, this might not be possible, but the incredible opportunity is here right now for this.
