Hi all,

I'm looking to sell my Ecom business (Amazon FBA, around 100k profit a year) and I have a question. Do buyers of companies require that you have product certificates for your products? Like EU CE and RoHS certificates. I'm selling a LED table lamp for example and my supplier can provide CE certificates, but I think in the end my own company would need to have the product certified with the papers on my name. At this point I don't have those certificates on my name.

I'm looking to approach Empire Flippers but I don't know whether I should disclose that info. They might disqualify me while potential buyers might not care.

Any answers / advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not my bag, but would say it doesn't hurt to ask. Approach them, tell them, and if they say no, go somewhere else or figure out how to get those certs and talk to them again?

That's really your only option, otherwise you're just procrastinating ;)

I'm guessing all of these would come from the manufacturing level and they should have them, especially if they are selling a product with electrical implications. I stress, this is my guess and an assumption.
