Hey fastlaners, how's everyone been?
so I have some rather great news!
as some of you all know, I started my own clothing company (many folks say "clothing line" but I see my company being bigger than that).
I also had some bad things happen along the way, which caused me to not have a permanent residence for the time being.
anyway, so recently, I was contacted by a local boutique owner (who by the way owns about 3 of them in my city). He really loved my new stuff that I had been designing and wants to sell my tees in his store. I've been watching this store for a long while, so I know the store gets plenty of business/traffic.
so now, we have one store about to sell our goods, now I just have to set up some sort of wholesale pricing, get a line sheet ready and all that fun stuff :banana:. I know this is the first of many big steps, and I feel so happy and ecstatic right now!
just slowly revving up that engine!:fastlane:
should I still keep an online store though? the internet has SO MANY independent clothing labels that it's tough to stand out it seems. I'm thinking the retail/wholesale thing can make me more $$$ and the fact that my stuff being IN a store kinda helps take a little load off of promoting marketing.
