I live in a college town that’s lacking in entertainment. People constantly talk about how there’s nothing to do in the city. I’m brainstorming ideas to bring some new form of entertainment to the city.

Any ideas?

I think you can look at tourist towns and just get ideas from their. It's really to do with music, art, literature. Maybe look at arts, humanity groups.

For example:

Arts/Craft Shows. Different Art Mediums are endless. Clubs, Groups, Galleries, Courses.
Plays/Theater/Opera.
Writing/Book Groups.
Music Festivals/Concerts out in the park. Indoor Concerts for different Generations.
Music Lessons
Movie Night.
Film/Cinema/Camera Groups.
Game Nights. Board Games Vs. Technology Gaming.
Sports or recreational activities.

Michigan is a great place to get ideas we have them all over the state for different seasons. Small towns, big cities, isolated areas in the U.P.

Always something to do.

Another place you can look at is activity directors. You might have to do some research on how that plays in to different generations. All comes down to key words. Entertainment, Activities, Recreation, etc.

Dude this is great starting idea! This would be a super easy business to get off the ground and could definitely create profit if you are good a networking, host frat events, etc.

I would not make the mistake of starting something without validation.

Ask the popular kids if they would do what your thinking.

Country folks like partying, drinking, shooting, camping, etc.

Find some empty land away from people and make it a redneck events center type place.

Like a big place to go muddin in their 4wd trucks, camp, go shooting, get drunk, have concerts, etc.

Or open a bowling alley or laser tag place.

Go lookup butter and egg adventures, it's a recreation center in Troy for outdoor stuff. Kinda boring and kid themed but still a decent idea. I would go for a little more chaotic and redneck. Something for college students.

I've been to butter and egg adventures. Fun Place. There is a place named Bama Slam on the outskirts of Troy that is exactly what your describing. I've been there, fun place.

A believe a bowling alley or something like a laser tag place would do incredibly well.
