I'm currently a 23-year-old who attends university, and by the end of the Fall semester, I will take a break (long story, if I do decide to go back, it will be online to finish, not to mention I hate it and feel like a waste of time).
I came up with the idea of creating this business:
I'm developing a platform that will let individuals and organizations manage their paperwork, due dates, and basic funds in one location.
The concept is straightforward: most professionals, small company owners, and landlords deal with disorganized paperwork, missed deadlines, and cumbersome bookkeeping systems. This is resolved by my platform by:
automatically classifying papers to make them easily accessible.
AI can be used to identify important dates (such as needed signatures, tax deadlines, or contract renewals) and remind people before they're due.
supplying basic bookkeeping tools that eliminate the hassle of keeping track of income, spending, and receipts without requiring the degree of experience of an accountant.
This will be developed as a web-based SaaS platform, making it scalable, easily updatable, and available from any location. In the long run, I want this to develop into a tool that helps small firms and entrepreneurs save money, time, and worry so they can concentrate on expansion rather than paperwork.
The main goal is to make daily business operations less complicated, which is a problem I know many entrepreneurs encounter.
I came up with this idea from a previous user on this forum who is a landlord and said she hates dealing with paperwork and would want something simple to upload her documents without messing them up, and a platform that could ease the bookkeeping side.
What am I doing to achieve this?
I'm now setting the groundwork to make this concept a reality. In order to create a clear and uncomplicated user experience, I began by learning frontend web programming using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In order to create the database and automation capabilities that will drive the platform, I'm then switching to Python and backend programming. As well as currently reading a book on databases.
In order for the system to automatically scan uploaded files, identify deadlines, and alert users when anything needs attention, I'm also looking into ways to incorporate AI technologies for document recognition and reminders. My main goal is to develop a minimal viable product (MVP) that manages document uploads and reminders initially, before progressively branching out into bookkeeping and other more complex functions.
In addition to understanding the technical aspects, I'm ensuring that the solution directly tackles the problems that small businesses and entrepreneurs deal with daily by beginning small and building gradually.
What are your thoughts on this idea?
