This week I took Steve Chou's 3 day course where he overviewed various ways to sell product. He introduced us to affiliate mkt, dropship, and private label, which he most highly recommeds, and the route I see myself going. He is selling his course as well which gives access to tons of info, a focus support group, and access to him to answer questions once a week. I've already learned so much from the training, and was introduced to things like Jungle Scout and Klaviyo which I've never heard of.
Embarrassed to say, but I'm a complete newb, and this has given me a little template to finding out even what products to consider. I was already sold on the training, and it would be a good way to stay accountable. I guess I'm waffling now and second guessing myself. Come on , you can do it yourself. You have the FastLane, and you're good at research. Is it really such a big hurdle? I was also not sure that it was product that I wanted to engage in, but it may be the easiest way to get my feet wet. I also think the hand holding would expedite my progress and not let me make excuses.
I'm just using this as a sounding board, and feedback is welcome.
So it does feel like I'm talking myself into it - investing in myself, and sometimes it's worth it to pay for education - we do it all the time in the slow lane. I haven't really looked into other programs, just jumped on the first thing that came my way. In a way it feels serendipitous - I mean I asked for guidance, and it came - but am I being too hasty? I haven't seen any negative reviews about the program, and it seems legit. Can you tell that decision making is a laborious process for me? Maybe not a great hallmark of entrepreneurs.
Anyways, that's my stream of consciousness for now.
