Hey guys (and gals),
My name is Dave, I'm from Northeast PA and I've been lurking here for a few
weeks and I think I've finally found a new home online. :coolgleamA: I've recently
gone through a divorce and recovered from some health issues so I'm
starting anew nice and fresh.
What appeals to me so much about this particular forum are the positive
attitudes and wisdom I've seen. I was a regular member of another highly
popular marketing forum for years but got so sick of the cynicism, jadedness
and overall negativity that just seemed to end up oozing from every pore.
(I'm sure you can relate) Anyway, I really like the vibe I see here. I'm
looking to meet some new lifelong friends who I can lift up and vice a versa.
I cannot tolerate "sheep", which I happen to be surrounded by in this area. Most
people are stuck in the rat race have no goals etc. Not cutting people down
just stating the facts of the situation. You know the people I mean. The ones
who shoot down every idea, can't see past the first car in front of them and
cant wait to win the lottery or for American idol to come on. Victim mentality
galore. ("serenity now... serenity now!")
I'm an entrepreneur by heart and one of those crazy creative types. If you've
ever read the book "The Da Vinci Code" that's pretty much me. Highly creative,
a visual thinker, love to help people, hate anything mundane and repetitive and
have the focus of Cosmo Kramer (he he) and yes I know it can be a dangerous
trait. I like to get my hands dirty and am happy in a creative, inventive,
marketing arena. The technical aspects of business bores the hell out of me. I
like to create, get it moving and move on to something new as I bore quickly.
I'm into product development, marketing, copy, research, problem solving. I
love to see ideas come to fruitation in the form of new products, services,
businesses etc.
I'm also interested in building passive wealth, helping others achieve
the same and using that as a means to an end to live life to the fullest
and serve others. I seem to be fulfilled most when I can help others
achieve... so I think I'll fit right in here.
I'm young at heart... I'll be 21 until I die.
And I like soft music and long barefoot walks on the beach. "kidding" Shit,
a long barefoot walk on the beach does sound good though... especially
with a (ice cold just a hair from frozen) beer.
Actually, I'm a metal head and like it loud baby! :icon_super:
I play the guitar, write tunes (you know, there's that creative madman again),
motocross, hiking, like to be outdoors in the woods and exploring when I can.
Small groups of good friends, road trips etc. anything that gets me away
from this damn computer. I'm a rebel by nature stuck in yankee land. A loyal
nice guy but can be opinionated as all hell and you'll just have to deal with
it. *smiles*
Ah, that's enough about me for now.
