Critique My Website - Ixora Models

I have been studiously, formulating a "brand" for my website which serves mostly as an informational outlook for my newly established business based in Atlanta. Additional content will certainly be added in the near future. I would really appreciate critique, comments, & suggestions. Thanks.

These are things I would change:

-get rid of the music on the homepage or if you want to keep it, ensure the stop/pause button is easily visible and actually works
-use real models and not celebrities (I think the girl on the services page is Jada Pinkett Smith) or just use stock images
-get rid of the adsense (I think it cheapens the feel of the site)

Work on the design of the homepage a bit more:
-some of the images in the our gallery section might need to be resized
-Not sure where I read this but if the average American reading level is at the 8/9th grade level you might want to replace pulchritudinous

Lastly, it's fairly easy to tell that you're a start-up since only one image is hyper-linked in the "our gallery" section and that same individual is featured on the blog...you might want the site to feel older and more established than it currently does.

A few quick things I noticed...

The link to your website in your post here doesn't work - should be http:// not https://
The KamlaTechnologies.com link at the bottom of your site is incorrectly formed & doesn't work
The photos in your front page gallery need to be edited to fit the thumbnail size - they are distorted
The site is intrusively telling me I need to have the Apple Quicktime plugin - ain't got it, not going to get it just to look at your site
The layout across your pages is inconsistent & there is no navigation menu on some pages
5 typefaces on the services page = 3 too many
I personally find the Google ads make the site look cheap
If you're demographic is female I think your front page colours are good - they work well together & don't clash. Could you make the bottom of the lighter background maroon strip line up with your model image?
Get some content!

Not being negative at all - just a few things for you to consider if you so wish...

Firstly, thanks for your input. I am going to completely remove the music from the homepage due to not only your recommendation, but also my friends'. I will fix the "KamlaTechnologies.com" link and the image thumbnail size dimensions. Also, I am convinced with your argument; I will find a less esoteric synonym for pulchritudinous. Actually, I will slightly edit your original response and forward it to my web designer.
