Comps on similar websites

hi guys,

does anyone know a good way to get Comparable info on websites. For example, I want to find out what a similar business to the one I want to start is making in ad revenue etc. is there anywhere to estimate that with any kind of accuracy?

There are definitely sites where you can compare traffic. Alexa.com is one of them. I'm not sure about any sites that offer information about revenue specifically, though.

Check out compete.com a good site for comparing sites - better than Alexa.com which btw is known to be very in accurate with it's traffic estimates.

As for ad revenue ... that's a lot more difficult to tell & many sites will not publish or share that data - unless they have too as part of an annual report etc
