Closing a sale requires a constant battle with providing value to those you're prospecting. It can consist of a number of variables that help and/or hinder the progress towards new revenue. As entrepreneurs and business owners, I'm sure we all have our opinions as well as varying experiences that influence decisions.

Which (or maybe it's both) do you prefer in your business style?

A) Work with clients hand-in-hand:
You prefer to work individually with a select number of clients where you maintain a tight, close relationship that breeds energy and results. You prefer having 15 clients at $1000/month that work with on a regular, scheduled basis.

B) High number of customers:
You'd rather not deal with relationships, having to hand-hold clients. A 250 paying customers using your software is far more scalable, manageable...where you don't have to trade your time. Instead, you build the tools for customers to use, it's up to them as to how they value paying $60/month.

Please share a little about your experience and why you prefer one over the other...or if you actually prefer a mix.
