Yes, I am STILL in the same situation......slave job still hasn't come around (though I haven't looked for one, so that's on me
) However, I have NOT been defeated. After my Laptop was stolen, and my smartphone (which was a gift to me, along with MTG Cards I had that I used to sell to get a little pocket money) which you can read about in my other thread, Internet Marketing(BlackHat mostly) was taken out of the equation for me. The solid methods of money making in IM involve building Landing Pages, having access to downloading software (which consumes lots of MB/GB, which I can't do with a 2 GB Flash Drive), among other obstacles. It was already bad enough I don't have a home address, which is also a pain, but long story short, I had to hang up on that idea..for the moment. Not to mention that IM is simply a "talent" competition, the marketer with the most resources at his disposal, or markets in the least known profitable niche wins. Everybody else either makes peanuts or nothing at all. I'd much rather OWN my own CPA Network, or run my OWN Affiliate Program.....it just doesn't make sense to me why people give up their control, and prostitute themselves to Google Adsense, CPA's, Clickbank, Amazon, etc. Oh well, moving on.....
Considering the backgrounds of numerous old-school Billionaires (many of whom relocated here to America off the boat, literally), I have come to the conclusion that the Fastlane Formula does not care where you come from, or what you're current circumstances are....As long you APPLY it's principles to your life, Wealth is attainable. The process will depend on each individual, as we all have our own lives...but the principles, the root variables, the mathematics will ALWAYS remain the same......Which brings me back to the very first Fastlane method I learned years ago as a small child watching the "Late Night Gurus" with my mother when we had housing....I remembered all the Slowlane nonsense, the shitty testimonials, the sales pitches, and the like from Carlton Sheets, Russ Whitney, Robert Kiyosaki, John Beck, among many, many others........Real Estate....While all of this was long before the crash of 2007, I was smart enough to know(though my mother wasn't) that Real Estate was obviously a powerful wealth building tool, and that none of these guys are going to tell you the optimal ways of making money in the business......I always had this hunch that perhaps, these guys were just selling these "Products" to market themselves, and make some money in the process(keyword), and didn't care whether or not people made even a dime.
The "courses" and books that my mom purchased(which I consumed pretty much) all said the same thing: "Borrow more money than you can afford to pay back mathematically, to make more money, through multiple small monthly cash flows in properties." It didn't make sense to me, it seemed as if these "gurus" were just hustling half-baked, fairy-tailed, candy-assed information. When it comes to borrowing money, you have to make sure you are profiting much more and faster than the money you borrowed, taking into account how fast the interest accumulates. Borrowing irresponsibly can spell the doom of you if you let it, as it has my mother and her student loans. I even attended the Learning Annex in Rosemont, IL my Freshman year of High School, when Donald Trump was the main speaker, and he was promoting his new book, "Think Big", which is a great book, btw. Of course, the Annex was full of half baked slowlane non-sense that slowlaners and sidewalkers ate alive, and spent thousands, maxing out their credit cards and emptying their wallets on..... There was even a guy there selling the "wait a few years to get approved for a small government grant" niche, lol

As of today, I've decided to start my path to locking down my very first actual PROCESS, a Real Estate Deal. I've been looking into Cooperative Lease Options for quite a while, so here's what I'm going to do.....

Fast Forward - Day 1
As of today, I've decided to start my path to locking down my very first actual PROCESS, a Real Estate Deal. I've been looking into Cooperative Lease Options for quite a while, so here's what I'm going to do.....
- Get myself a couple of Notebooks, a few pens and get to note-taking, making use of the wealth of information I have in the internet everyday. I'm essentially teaching myself how to do this day by day, NO EXCUSES.
- Keep Mentally practicing doing deals with people. I have been very non-social throughout my life as a result of the living hell I've experienced. There's this awesome book an IM from the burbs gave me called "Psycho-Cybernetics, by Dr. Maxwell Maltz. P.S. It's the REAL version of "The Secret". Rhonda, or whatever her name is basically sampled a few words from this book(published back in 1960) and shitted on it with mystical, New Age nonsense, and made millions off it. Fastlaner indeed, lol Also, look for the original Psycho-Cybernetics, it's better than the modern reprint. That book along with TMFL (which I also got from the same guy, have changed my life already....)
- I'm not playing the race card here. There are millions of people in the city and burbs that I can work with. I'm 50% African American, and 25/25% Nigerian and Haitian. I know good and well race plays no true part here. Arab Money does not discriminate, lol :smxA:
- While teaching myself, I will be finding a way to acquire a new cellphone (even if it's a shitty one, so I can make my calls. I'll be making use of Catholic Charities and the like to get some dress clothes, and I can NOT look like a kid, lol
- I have NO job experience, and no credit, probably have bad credit, seeing as I do have some unpaid bills in my name, but I do not see this as a hindrance, but rather an opportunity to prove myself.......
- Even though I'm not old enough for a RE License in Illinois, I don't care. That will not stop me....
- Craigslist, and the like will be used for marketing/searching for deals
- I REALLY want to move to Arizona, lol This Chicago weather sucks
