I'm trying to start a business or career where I find funding for people. I need to know if what I want to do is actually a "thing".
For example:
If a client come to me, and says: "I want to buy a car from a private seller, and is looking to finance; my credit isn't too bad, but it's not the best either. I don't want to go through a bank directly".
My approach will be to find him/her funding through maybe private lenders? private investors? Maybe could I form a peer to peer lending group of investors and find some that is willing to pinch in on funding this car and then we will figure out interest rates and all that.
Could I be the one who write up the deal, which will include the client's situation in terms of money down, credit, monthly bills and income and fetch it to investors until I find a few or even just 1 that will bite.
Is this a thing? What is the proper name for this type of career or business? And how would I profit from it which way should I profit from this.
THank you.
