MJ DeMarco and his Fastlane books seem to say to avoid passion in entrepreneurship. I do agree if you pursue passion without using any of the advice given, like the CENTS model and gaining leverage, then pursuing passion will lead to destruction of that passion and a trapped business.
However, do you think if you pursue a passion topic while using all the advice given from the books, you will be more likely to place more effort onto your business and therefore, more likely to succeed?
For Example, if you have a passion in fitness, but instead of trying to be a fitness trainer, you try to gain a following on social media and sell your course or program. Do you think it is better in this scenario to pursue your passion?
