The owner says they are retiring and they only have one admin assitant with a salary of 40k/year. They claim you can work from home doing this and they are willing to provide 3 months training plus consultation after the purchase. With a profit+owner salary of 600K, their asking is 1 million (10% money down). I'm completely new to buying a business but my VC buddy seems really into buying good companies rather than starting them.
From what I can tell they have some existing clients in Canada where they setup and fix/monitor networking issues. I guess the sales on the first line indicates buying boxes like Cubro (maybe some of you IT guys may know more about that). With figures like they have here, I would have figured this company would be worth at least a few million, so it seems (just a tiny bit) too good to be true. Though I should factor in that maybe their contracts may be expiring and the hard part will be finding new ones or renewing. Maybe there's a hot competitor that just came in that I don't know of. What I do like is that it's more on the hardware side, so I'm not competing with SAAS competitors (who could potentially make a clone using AI).
Or maybe it is a good deal and 1 of you will ask me what company this is and buy it for yourself instead lol.
